The 2,160-year cycle of the mystical Age of Piscean with its emphases on authority, paternalism, religion and belief is fast ending and giving way to the occult Age of Aquarius of individual understanding, feminine power and direct knowledge. We are in the wash-over period or cusp of the end of one age and the beginning of another. The Age we are leaving was characterized by devotion, separation based on idealism to the point of fanaticism, patriotism and paternalism and the leadership we have experienced reflected these characteristics. The Age of Pisces saw large numbers of bodies come into incarnation. We also saw the education of the masses as ever before and no longer reserved for a few. Through education, mankind is learning to liberate himself. He is doing so through his study of the seven liberal arts: grammar, rhetoric, logic, arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy, thereby developing the ability to think and to reason rationally and objectively. We also saw the birth and extensive use of psychology. Mankind is applying the principles of reason to bring his emotional body under the control of the mind. The personality vehicle which consists of the physical, emotional and mental bodies has been in pain because of the inability to reconcile the pairs of opposites, whatever they may be: rich and poor, black and white, above and below, dark and light…
Ready or not, the Age of Aquarius is upon us, and a new and different leadership is emerging. Spirit is coming down to man and mankind must rise to meet it. In the Age of Aquarius, we will see the vision of what God held out for man, when He formulated the idea in Aries, to come into flesh to realize that he is both God and Man. This new Age is described as the Age of the Brotherhood of Man. The veils will be parted to allow humanity to penetrate the veil of illusion of separation to realize our One-ness. The Age is symbolized in Tarot by Divine Feminine, Isis, whose name is TRUTH of the Egyptian story and will oversee the emergence of the third person of the Godhead, no other than the Divine Mother, what many refer to unknowingly as the Holy Spirit. We are on the path of return, and on this return journey we see the parting of the veil to reveal the ancient mysteries whose time is now.
The New World Order, a construct of the Aquarian Age, whose guiding purpose for leadership are the following:
- All men are equal in origin and goal but are at different stages of evolutionary development
- Personal integrity, intelligence, vision, experience and the will to good
- A purpose that subscribes to the rule “all for one and one for one”
- No uniform type of government will be imposed; on the contrary, the sovereign rights of each nation will be recognized, and its peculiar genius, individual trends and racial qualities will be permitted full expression to produce unity of which education should be the vehicle.
- The natural resources and riches of the planet belong to no one nation but should be shared by all. A fair and organized distribution of wheat, oil and natural resources will be to each nation based on its needs and will be a reality in this Age.
- There will be a steady and regulated disarmament of each nation which will not be optional as no nation will be allowed to organize equipment for destructive purposes and allowed to infringe on the security of any nation. This will be preceded by a “peace conference”
- In summary, the New World Order will facilitate the establishment of right human relations and justice based on the inherited rights of all regardless of race, culture, national origin. (The Externalization of the Hierarchy by Alice Bailey)
There will be a changing of the guard and those in positions of leadership will be those who have prepared themselves in the Piscean Age to now step forward with a different kind of leadership not based on class, money, titles, ethnicity, culture, melanin content but on consciousness, which is what defines true power and leadership. They have been here all along waiting for the appropriate time to step forward as we will increasingly see. Women will take their rightful place of leadership and decision-making to create a New World based on equity and balance. The leaders of the Aquarian Age would have been awakened to the one-ness of all humanity and will lead with true power, humility and grace.

This article is refreshing. I long for the day when the concept of the spiritual advancement of men into a more accommodative and more conscious individual who understands that service to another man is service to self is freely taught without encabaring it with religious dogmas. It is good to note from this article that education is already levelling the leadership field to reduce the competitiveness in this world which continue to strengthen the strong who have means to exploit available resources, and weakening the poor who do not attach any personal value to these resources. Just as global disarmament is meant to usher in better ways of dealing with conflicts I would advocate for an education that gives emphasis to understanding our physical environment as well as our spiritual journey.
